My big trip to the US

Here we go...U.S.A.
After 2 hours security check and 7 hrs 20 minutes flight finally I made my way to the US. As promised, Rich picked me up from the airport and I spent my first days with him in NY. We stayed at a friend's apartment inManhattan with an amazing view of Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty.

..finally Rich found his girl.. ;-)


..."The naked Cowboy" (I am sure everybody of you already heart about this guy- he's hilarious and definitely belongs to NY..)...

Ground Zero- thoughtful place, next to a time schedule and pics of what happened they hung up a black board with all names of the victims of Sept 11.. it still freezes you standing there looking down at this big hole in the middle of the city surrounded by other towers and skyscrapers..

..old American schoolbus- Rich was laughin about me taking a picture of a "usual" schoolbus. Wish we had those for school back home...

...New Jersey...

...boattrip to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to do some research about Rich's ancestors. It is still unknown where this guy comes from- and, Rich, I am still sure: You are NOT German!!!!!...
