Adelaide
There was not so much to do in Adelaide. We just walked around and visited the parks, the parliament and a heaps of museums. It was very interesting. Before I came to Australia I didn't know much of it. But by-and-by, after visiting museums and talking to people, I'm learning more and more about its history, culture, lifestyle, politics and especially a lot of the sad story of Aboriginal people.
When we were in Adelaide, we had luck... From the 25th of september- 2st of october there was the "World Solar Challenge" going on in Adelaide. More than 11 countries designed and built a car capable of crossing Australia on the power of daylight. The participants traversed more than 3,000k- they started in Darwin and hopefully finished in Adelaide. The first team arriving in Adelaide was the Dutch team (Nuna 3). Everybody was so excited and it was just amazing. Driving more than 3,000k only with the assistance of sun...
